Some moms give a Tiramisù workshop as a gift to their kids.
For us the most rewarding situation is when we teach to young women and, afterwards, when they go back home and make their Tiramisù for their moms and dads, we get enthusiastic comments and amazing pictures.
DESSERT CLASS
Cooking dessert must be fun, first of all, but also a good accession for the participants to get to know each other and maybe become friends. That’s why we often organize dessert classes for students on their abroad program in Florence.
During our Italian dessert class there is so much to talk about, but sometimes we also like to put some music on and work in relaxation. Teaching how to bake is surely more than showing how to prepare a dish. We speak about ingredients, how to choose them, why we only use season fruits, local honey and eggs, etc. It is also important to talk about some safety rules to follow about ingredients, for example milk, eggs, ice cream, rice.
Our favorite dessert ever since is Tiramisù. We have our special recipe and our all small tricks. Taking your own Tiramisu back home to share it with friends later is such a big satisfaction…
